Corrosion Under Insulation has long been an underestimated problem. Moisture, leaking substances (often corrosive, flammable or toxic) and weathering conditions can lead to deterioration of insulation and corrosion of underlying vessels or pipes, causing expensive repairs, loss of production and even hazardous situations.
